Adhigam Bhoomi – Apni Mitti Se Judi Shiksha (a unit of ‘Help Us Help Them’) is a free residential school that aims to serve 1,000 rural girls aged 6 to 16, coming from remote villages in West Bengal and belonging to underprivileged backgrounds. We began our first session with 500 children on the 21st of February 2024. We have established a management tie-up with Kalinga University.

ADHIGAM BHOOMI – “Apni Mitti Se Judi Shiksha”
Help Us Help Them (HUHT) is a non-profit organization that has been working since 2006 with nearly 600 deprived and street children, catering to their educational and overall developmental needs. We currently run a rural school in Mallickpur and the School-On-Wheels program, with 35 faculty members and other staff providing free education. The goal of HUHT is to nurture good human beings who will grow into responsible citizens of India.

Our education system will be modeled after the traditional Gurukul system, emphasizing self-sufficiency and communal living. The day will begin at 4 AM, with students actively participating in daily tasks, including cleaning, cooking, campus upkeep, and washing clothes and utensils, fostering self-discipline, responsibility, and a sense of community.
